Pros
The support team in Ogden seems great so this review does not apply to them at all. They seem to be doing well and happy with their job. This review is for the business and product development operations in San Francisco. - The pro for me is that there is great work life balance. Everyone clocks out right at 5pm on the dot. You can tell that people are literally counting down the minutes until 5pm strikes. - People are generally smart. Product, marketing, finance, analytics teams are strong and talented. However, it's hard to get stuff done or feel like you're making an impact since the company priorities are all over the place. Everything we do is purely driven by "what will look good at the next board meeting."
Cons
- TERRIBLE senior leadership. I have no idea what the vision is for the company, no idea what the priorities are at any given moment. - It seems like all the leadership cares about how to hit our numbers so they aren't embarrassed at the next board meeting - Most of the revenue just comes from people forgetting to cancel their memberships. This says a lot about this company right there and its values (or lack thereof) - Most of the engineering team is remote in Mexico or Europe where it's cheaper to hire engineers. I have heard from PMs (and can only imagine) that this makes product development extremely hard. - CEO is extremely arrogant, condescending, does not listen to others, terrible leader and not a visionary in any way.
