I wish all my former colleagues the best, but I have to strongly urge you not to join them. I've had jobs that were bad fits for me personally, but this is the only employer I can't recommend anyone work for.

If you work there, especially as a designer or engineer, expect most of your professional expertise to be dismissed and most of your work to be for nothing.
In my time there, projects were given rush priority only to be dropped at the last minute. Releases with serious issues seemed to be becoming the norm. Engineers' and designers' work to improve the design and infrastructure of the core product was backburnered for projects to generate short-term revenue or coverage in the blockchain press. Even the smallest changes to the product had to go through multiple rounds of executive approval. Teams quickly dwindled from "reorgs" and high turn-over.
Everyone at Rocket Lawyer is too busy managing up to a single point of failure to get meaningful work done.
Priorities constantly change at the whim of the CEO, who does not have a technical, product, or design background and does not respect the people he's put in charge of those functions enough to let them do their jobs.
The CEO will challenge people to disagree with him, saying it's how to earn his respect, but lose his cool if you do. He routinely used all-hands meetings to belittle employees—saying terminated employees were dead weight, people who posted Glassdoor reviews are cowards, and that if we really understood the content of his presentations, we would be much more excited by them. It doesn't occur to him that his employees are smart enough to understand his vision and are still underwhelmed by its cohesiveness or clarity.
This lack of respect will carry on past your last day. Former coworkers have described being berated by the CEO during exit interviews. Personally, despite getting exemplary peer and manager reviews during my time there, Rocket Lawyer dragged my severance negotiations on for nearly two months, during which they went radio silent for weeks at a time, eventually making a final offer of zero compensation after starting at two weeks.
The pay and benefits were fine; but as an engineer or designer in San Francisco, you can do so much better.
