Pros

Some of the sales people are great people to work with and the office location in downtown San Francisco is really great.

Cons

Unfortunately, the list is long. The biggest problem is that from the executive team down through middle management, there is a lot of talk and not a lot of walk. There were many promises of upward mobility, fun activities, cool cultural improvements, but it never happened and it wont happen. Another huge problem was the quality of the sales management and sales culture. It is a top down, very controlling environment driven almost entirely by fear tactics. Decisions are made in a black box from the top and then are forced down to the reps with little to no explanation and severe consequences if you disagree with anything (essentially micromanagement on steroids). In a nutshell, management treats the sales people like children. Lastly, there is a lot of attrition and the sales management doesn't try to stop it or do anything about it. Rocket Lawyer sales has turned into a churn and burn factory.

Pros

The communication within and across teams are clear and organized. I haven't seen anyone during my internship experience that didn't take full responsibility of their role and issue they are working on. Learnt a lot of hands-on experience.

Cons

DE team supports the entire data infrastructure at global scale, so from time to time we were overwhelmed with the entirety of the scope we have to handle.

Retaliation by management, toxic work environment, unrealistic expectations, definate favoritism (duties, promotion, pay raise), lack of organization, no clear outlook HIGH turnover.
