Pros
Ability to learn new areas, a requirement because the company has so many different technology stacks that are barely hanging together by tape. Co workers are great and are doing what they can, usually very friendly.
Cons
Long work hours: 14 hour days are common. Weekend work: You are always on call, despite there being an oncall rotation, which is ignored. Poor executive leadership: CEO has had more misses then wins, and is dishonest in all hand meetings about the state of the company. After a second round of layoffs this year, claimed they were not doing layoffs. Split priorities: You will be pulled from team to team every couple months, while also having to support overall release work. At any time expect to be working on 3-4 teams simultaneously. Business planning is very lacking, changes in focus and direction every 3 months.
