Pros
Colleagues were wonderful, especially those outside of faculty ranks, in student affairs and academic affairs. Collaboration was easy. People care about the students and doing the best for the students.
Cons
Horrible leadership (if you can call it that). Egos are HUGE and VPs and President care to only boost their stature at the expense of the staff and faculty. RWU practices fully that RI is an employment "at-will" state and has walked dozens of female employees, over a certain age, out the door and have kept underperforming white men. Years ago, the joke was that RWU stood for "Rich white underachievers" and administration attributed those terms to students. Now, those attributes clearly describe the school's leadership.
