Pros
The students, for the most part, are great as are many of the faculty. The campus is lovely and the benefits are good. Community outreach and experiential model for undergraduates has potential if adequately supported. There are still some good and committed staff but the number is shrinking as good people leave.
Cons
The president, Most of the deans and many of the senior administrators are marginally competent and only looking to build their own power and influence. They are losing focus on the school's core mission because they are too busy looking out for themselves. Mid-level staff do the best they can in an environment where many get little support from their bosses while the workload continues to grow. Money is very tight but expectations continue to increase. Extremely political environment that starts at the very top. Morale is very low and the people who care are getting frustrated and starting to leave.
