Pros

The director of the tutoring department is really wonderful and makes you feel appreciated. Tutoring itself is a very rewarding job.

Cons

Sometimes coworkers do not pick up the slack. For example, if a student walks into the writing center, the tutor at the front of the room often ends up tutoring them rather than students from the back offering to help.

It is a lovely campus and there are a select group of people here who have a heart for the success of students and RWU.

Cons

Unfortunately a lot of politics, lack of growth opportunity, inconsistent messaging, and lack of clear organizational structure. Unfortunately there is a great volume of people who are trying to push personal career goals over the benefit, health, and growth of the Institution and students.
