Pros

ERP training, salary for me at least (the other 2 therapists I knew got paid less for some unknown reason)

Cons

Racism, micro aggressions, bullying and favoritism from management. You work so insanely hard and give up so much of your personal life only to have your confidence and self-esteem ripped to shreds by this organization. You have zero autonomy in patient care as a therapist, everything is decided for you and you are just a puppet repeating what you are told. It got to a point to many of us where we felt we were stumbling on some ethical lines and were told to keep our heads down and do as we were told. I left after that.

While this feedback is difficult to read, we appreciate your willingness to share it. We take your feedback seriously and will use it as a guide for our ongoing efforts to create an equitable workplace. We are sorry to hear that your experience with management was not consistent with the supportive work environment we strive to create for all employees. Favoritism and microaggressions should not exist at Rogers. We have created avenues to ensure our employees are able to anonymously report such incidents that need visibility if they do occur, and we continue to make improvements. Again, thank you for your time in sharing these insights.

Pros

The benefits are fine enough and the recourses and tools for the position is adequate

Cons

My coworker and I were subjected to absurd levels of harassment and abuse predicated by the other horticulturist on staff. Screaming, yelling, using derogatory and pejorative language to describe myself, other staff, and patients, the coworker would bully, insult, and intimidate others as they went about the job. In efforts to coordinate work or avoid instances of harassments, schedules and work plans were changed to no avail. Wantonly destroying property, using tools unsafely (almost loosing my fingers and hand), leaving implements out and unguarded for anyone to take, the coworker made this horticultural position impossible to manage and execute. They would just yell and insult us constantly and then remind us that the last people to try and address these same issues with staff or hr were fired.
