Interesting patients, MAJOR job security, nice facility, some patients will share amazing moments with you, casual atmosphere, you will never get seriously reprimanded for anything

Cons

Do-nothing management, below-market pay scale, stressful environment, profit-driven decision-making, a tendency towards understaffing, co-workers will never get seriously reprimanded for anything

Pros

I loved helping others. CBT and DBT skills are fascinating and I appreciated the training and experience. Great co-workers.

Cons

Pay is poor considering the responsibility and importance of the position. Management needs to pay attention, collaborate with RC staff as they know what the needs of the residents are much more than management does and reward dedicated workers with advancement, not play favorites.

Some employees bullied out of a job

Good work and clientele experience

Cons

People can be bullied, pushed around or excluded until they quit. Those that have been there for a while get away with exaggerating circumstances to management, then employees getting accusations and judgments thrown at them. It's hard to watch happen. Staff feel the need to make excuses to quit in order to leave on decent terms with the company instead of being able to tell what is happening.
