Pros

Onsite contract at a major Milwaukee-area company. Work was project-based, about 6 months. All went smoothly, although I am pretty sure I might have been the only contractor onsite who wasn't there in an engineering or IT capacity, so I didn't really have any exposure to other onsite contractors so my insight is somewhat limited as to what others might have experienced working with Rose International.

Cons

Be sure to quote your rate, upfront and stick to it. They would have been happy to put me onsite for $10 less per hour than what the client was willing to pay (I know this because the client named the rate during the interview!). When I refused the lower rate, they didn't want to go back to the client on my behalf. I said I wouldn't take it. They finally went back to the client. I got the higher rate. You gotta stick up for yourself. They want the contract. That's all they are really concerned about. They seem to manage a lot of stuff from India (hiring, compensation, payroll, etc.)... that made me a little nervous, with social security numbers, etc. but I didn't have nay problems.

Pros

Rose International was extremely insightful in bringing the right opportunities to me and preparing me for the interviews. Had it not been for them, I would have found it difficult to land my current job. I would highly recommend this company to all job seekers in the US and abroad.

Cons

I do not have any negative experience.

Pros

Working from home is the only pro

Cons

Wow. Kind of a loaded question. Don’t expect to be paid for holidays. It won’t happen. If you use the bathroom during your 8 hour shift and it’s outside your allotted break or lunch you will be wrote up for it. Managers, the client, and QA are not on the same page . This makes your job as the employee very hard and their ideals unachievable at best. Once you are tenure and eligible to move from the 10:30 am shift to the 8 am shift they will look for any reason to let you go. They will also let you go without hr on the meeting. If you ask for clarification as to why you were removed from the project you will be told the client didn’t say. You’ll also be expected to accept that response.
