Pros
Rose is the exact kind of work environment I've always looked for. You're not micromanaged and allowed to do your job in the way that makes you most successful. With that being said, if you're someone who likes to be lazy and scroll Facebook and mess around during the workday, this is not the job for you. You have to have some energy, drive and curiosity in this industry in order to succeed. You get what you give. The training is relaxed (not intimidating) and includes online training as well as sitting with co-workers in the office. This allows you to take tips and hints from others, and helps you to decide what works best for your personal work style. You are allowed and ENCOURAGED to do what works best for you. Everyone in my office is extremely positive and more than willing to help - it's a very inclusive, collaborative environment where everyone helps others to succeed! This seems to be rare in the staffing industry. The work/life balance is incredible, and in my opinion, is the most invaluable benefit offered. It seems that upper management wants their employees to feel taken care of and have flexibility, and understands that employees that are happy at work are going to be motivated to produce more. People seem to feel comfortable taking a day or two off if they are feeling burnt out. I also enjoy that there aren't unnecessary meetings or pointless events/activities that take away from productivity. In the recruiting world, it's all about how you can use your time most efficiently. The company's values are wonderful also - and I have seen changes that have allowed us to focus more on candidate communication and care. I also feel that my job is very stable as the company just keeps growing and providing new clients to serve! I love staying busy. I am proud to work at Rose International!
Cons
The main con is the health benefits. They are extremely expensive and cover nothing but annual checkups (even a straight up HSA would be more beneficial instead of throwing money away). This was my biggest hesitation in joining this company. :( I really wish upper management would work on an improved plan for internal employees!! This is the main reason I would seek other employment - to get more decent health coverage. The health insurance has caused me a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. The other slight con is the lack of communication from management. Although, it seems that no news is good news. And, I'd rather have little communication rather than too much (pointless) communication.
