Cons
Commission is directly dependent on how much of the product that is sold. The economy currently if affecting the rate at which commission is received. Basically, if you don't sell, you don't get the larger paychecks. Another downside is that leaving the kiosk for a break like the other stores in the mall, is not an option. You can leave for a few minutes to go to the bathroom or get a quick bite to bring back but other than that you are not allowed to be away for a while. The demonstration video is repetitive and one can only hear it so many times without wanting to turn down the volume. Management below the regional level is in need of a shake up. It is very obvious that there is a disconnect between the store managers and the area manager. Getting recognized for one's hard work is difficult especially when some of the managers act as if the idea was theirs in the first place. The shift is for six hours long and at times the people at the other stores can get on your nerves whether it is their constant complaining about how slow business is moving or how great their business is doing. Sometimes people walk by you just to insult the company. Many people think that you as a sales associate control the price of the product and people will get angry with you for that.
