Pros

Good atmosphere, people were really nice. Good place to work because people are really nice there and you can see the outcome of your caring for others.

Cons

Tiring hours sometimes. There really aren't many cons. It's a medical center so generally it's a pretty good place to work so I can't really think of any.

Pros

Staff typically works well together despite the cons. You’re collectively keeping your head above water to survive.

Cons

Pay, staffing are garbage. Other systems pay considerably more. Think of private equity firms without the inevitable bankruptcy. Focus is on profits, not staff or patients. ER is ran on a skeleton crew with no incentive to pickup extra shifts. Lots of pressure to “help the team” which is code for work harder for less.
