Pros

Co-workers are awesome Pay is pretty fair, but could be better Free Ice Cream paydays (if your an ice cream person) Overtime plentiful (due to shortage, be prepared to work hard) Ability to learn and preform different job duties

Cons

No room for advancement unless you go back to school EVERYONE IS OVER WORKED!!!!!!!! Supervisor running too many departments Supervisor volunteering employees to do other job duties for other departments Never knowing true role, and job duties Not enough staff Benefits aren't the best, but there's plenty to choose from No patient transports

Pros

Friendly staff, management that shows appreciation for your work, bonuses yearly, tuition reimbursement is great, benefits were amazing, location is nice.

Cons

Rapport is off, you will be getting report for five patients from several other nurses. The technology is dated, emar meditech looks like it operates on Windows 95 and is not even close to the current version. Too much time spent charting. Communication is through old cellphones from the 90s and walkie-talkies. The older cna staff act insubordinate and some of the older nurses are rude to new nurses and staff.

Pros

Most of the patients are fantastic and absolutely appreciative of the care you’re giving them. My passion was 100% for them.

Cons

Horrible management. No communication on areas to improve until they decide to hand out disciplinary measures. Pay is laughable. Benefits are eh. 401k matching this year was changed to end of year matching, so if you leave prior to the end of the year, they get to skip out on matching. Staff that are willing to help out and be a team player terminated. Horribly understaffed. Frequently pushed to 6-7:1 patient.
