Pros

Potential, good product Abundance of opportunities for one to roll up their sleeves A ton of talented and kind people work here Good intentions for the business

Cons

Product often fails or has bugs Communication here is impossible Collaboration is painful or non existent Teams work in silos There are too many people in high ranking leadership positions who are not qualified to hold those positions, these individuals are not strategic and have no vision, as well as little to no people managing skills or knowledge on how to run a business Retribution, despite the RIVET values, employees fear sharing their honest opinions of give valuable feedback to help improve situations Too many friends working for friends here, not a good business practice Insane levels of micromanagement, insane, did I mention, insane? Ways to go in the diversity space, not enough women in positions of leadership a. Women's ideas and recommendations often dismissed. Might be because of the Indian culture which happens to occupy most Director and above positions. Shame on you for turning a blind eye to this behavior. Scattered, no solid direction or vision overall First time CEO, not experienced enough to run a Global company CFO is of old school mentality and total boys club Everything at Rubrik is last minute, poorly planned and/or executed

Pros

World class enablement, great collaboration across teams, good commission structure. Product that fits a major need, and Rubrik is at the front of the line.

Cons

Some leadership can micromanage, but it’s dependent on the exact team and tenure. Typically if you’re successful after the first 1-2 years, you’re given more autonomy. I will say this has generally gotten much better though, over the last couple of years.

Pros

Great product, easy pitch to the right person. Work environment is inviting and people are helpful. General culture here is that everyone wants others to succeed, so getting started is easy.

Cons

SDR’s gets little insight into the sales process after meetings are set. Your work basically stops with a prospect once that meeting is set and an opportunity is created. Would be nice to get more training in enterprise software selling so that you’re more prepared for an AE role.
