Pros

If you hate your life and want to be miserable, this is a great place to work. But seriously, there wasn't anything good about working in dispatch.

Cons

Management was non-existent, except when they would pop-in to ask you to fudge records or other illegal/unethical/ immoral activities. Management also changed the procedures about 3 times a day without informing any of the employees. I finally left when they told us they were bankrupt, closing our office and moving to another city, then they were surprised when I found another job. To top this all off, they never even moved in the first place! Absolutely THE worst communication and management EVER!

Pros

Straightforward with their expectations of you leading up and going into the academy.

Cons

There is no room for error. If you’re not in good physical condition and think you’ll improve while in the academy you’re wrong. You need to already be in good shape or they will run you ragged for it. It’s either you’re ready or you’re not and if you’re not then they will make it as miserable as possible to test you and either you quit or they fire you.
