Pros

This company provided the opportunity to save lives in the community. Local management supported the employees. New systems were implemented to help the daily operations.

Cons

Corporate direction was moving in the right direction but had not fully embraced the value of the local personnel. The HR department specifically had a difficult time supporting the employees.

Pros

Straightforward with their expectations of you leading up and going into the academy.

Cons

There is no room for error. If you’re not in good physical condition and think you’ll improve while in the academy you’re wrong. You need to already be in good shape or they will run you ragged for it. It’s either you’re ready or you’re not and if you’re not then they will make it as miserable as possible to test you and either you quit or they fire you.
