Pros

It gave me great experience and there was a great training program through the company, which paid you to get your EMT.

Cons

Old equipment, terrible management, constantly held over for holding cold calls, favoritism. I was also unable to get paperwork my physician assistant program after leaving until after months of asking and following the chain of command I was forced to contact the regional manager for help. Who quickly resolved the issue.

Pros

Straightforward with their expectations of you leading up and going into the academy.

Cons

There is no room for error. If you’re not in good physical condition and think you’ll improve while in the academy you’re wrong. You need to already be in good shape or they will run you ragged for it. It’s either you’re ready or you’re not and if you’re not then they will make it as miserable as possible to test you and either you quit or they fire you.
