Pros

There are no pros. None.

Cons

The hours are ridiculous. You never know what time you leave work (or what time you come in for that matter). You're hired for an 8 hour shift but that 8 hour shift almost always becomes 9-12 hour shifts and you're penalized if you leave early. Weekends off? LAUGHABLE. If they don't get enough sacrificial lambs to volunteer for Sunday, guess what? Mandatory Sunday shift. If you don't show up, you're penalized. We're also CONSTANTLY required to come in an hour early (mandatory), the reasoning being that we'll then be able to leave earlier but we ALWAYS leave later. Basically, any idea of a set schedule is a myth. Yet, unlike other industries where your schedule changes weekly and you get time to organize your life, our schedule here changes HOURLY and always in favor of S&S. Prepare to give up your time and freedom for the almighty bottom line. Rules are arbitrary, ridiculous and ever changing. We have the necessary rules for safety and operations then we have all the unnecessary rules that are imposed without rhyme or reason. The one bathroom we're allowed to use can be used as a torture device. To call it filthy would be a gross understatement. Morale is exactly where you expect it to be in Hell; hovering somewhere in the negatives. Pay would be okay if the stress and drama was worth it. It's not. Management is a joke. A sick, cruel joke.

Pros

Great pay and health benefits. The company started off as an excellent place to work even though the work life demand is outrageous it can be tolerated with some understanding of the apparel industry.

Cons

Extremely unreliable HR and excecutive management. I knew these people for years and once I had an issue they just turned their back on me and acted like I never was a good associate (even though I had excellent reviews for over 5 years straight). Local HR is so afraid to question anything from the corporate office they just agree with whatever no matter what the poor decision does to the local staff and moral. If you aren't buying the upper managements BS then you are the newest target of their aggression. Even the regional directors are afraid of upper management. Corporate are nothing more than a bunch of puppets...
