Pros

Not many pros with this job. It's easy. Your work day consist of showing up and completing re-sets for a large grocery store chain. You are rearranging product in shelves various section of the store.

Cons

You will not get a 40 hour work week with this job. Anywhere from 2 to 30 hours per week. There are no benefits. The company is over budget and understaffed. Was told I would be promoted to team lead within 2 months of working. Was told I would receive a raise as well. It's been 8 months and I have not received my raise and my title is still merchandiser but I am have the responsibility of a team lead. When asked about why the supervisor did not follow through, he simply stated that he didn't have time and was behind in the office.

Pros

Weekends off, you can take off anytime you want. You just need to let them know before the schedule is made.

Cons

Don't use the open door policy or contact h.r. They will retaliate and schedule you off more then the other members on the team. Give you easy projects so you only get 5 hours or less a day. I guess they don't know that you can pull up your tax information to prove how much your hours have been cut. Seniority means nothing. The schedule usually comes out just a few days before the new wave. Your email will be filled with diversity and inclusion emails.
