Decent salary, nice office, and free snacks

Cons

The owners of this company verbally berate employees in front of coworkers, cursing and belittling them. The owners make promises to customers to get development done far faster than is possible with the current work load, and then scream at employees when deadlines are unmet. Management will also instruct account managers or developers on how to do something or what to do, then if that turns out poorly and the customer is upset, will blame the employee saying they did not follow instructions. There is a very high turn over rate for obvious reasons.

Have I ever gotten upset with a member of the team over the past 20 years? Yes. Have we ever missed deadlines over the past 20 years? Yes. Is SBI a toxic work environment? No. I work extremely hard to treat everyone on the SBI Team with respect. It is not in my nature to blow up on someone I work with. Benefits. that was the only good thing about it

Cons

Nepotism, Abusive management, Loud office, Sells unfinished product, thinks they own the employees. Glass walls so there is no privacy of any kind for meetings. Gaslighting. Just avoid the place.
