BPD meetings on situations that can improve cost, environmental, or public safety. You're expected to present a new idea quarterly to GM and it cannot be a repeated idea. When these meetings are done so often with a large group of employees it can be hard to pinpoint an idea that hasn't already been presented or thought of. GM and SBM are always ontop of things so it's hard to come up with changes when changes do not need to be made.
GM employees can be rude and make you feel less than a person because of your position. Not all GM employees, but you can experience situations like that. Some can be pretty rude and lazy when it comes to cleaning up after themselves. SBM is a cleaning company so we do not mind doing so and take pride in our work, but some situations are due to lack of respect or consideration of the housekeeping staff (throw trash on the ground, leave mounds of food in the sink, leave toilet paper on the ground/sinks, ect). Not everyone is like this.
