Pros

SHRM is a great place to work if you’re smart, collaborative, aligned with the mission and like to move fast. There’s tons of opportunities to grow your skills and experience. The people I work with are some of the best I’ve ever worked with — that was not always the case, but the level of talent increases year over year. It’s not for everyone and I think that’s the best part about it. There’s no room for complacency and status quo. The benefits are terrific, lots of support for professional development, and you can’t beat the hybrid work schedule. In December, we work remotely though mid-January. Johnny is a firm, but wise leader. He’s very clear about his expectations and commitment to SHRM’s mission, employees members, and other stakeholders.

Cons

There really aren’t any cons, except there are some managers who don’t hold people accountable or aren’t clear about expectations. This can be frustrating for those high performers who put in the work and are dedicated to SHRM’s and the team’s success.

Pros

They didn't end up have Elon speak in the end.

Cons

Out of touch CEO invited Elon Musk to speak at SHRM conference while thousands of federal workers were getting DOGEd. Need I say more?
