Pros

The benefits here are very, very good and they have no choice but to respect work/life balance as an organization who supports such initiatives.

Cons

The answer you will most commonly hear at SHRM is that "this is the way it's always been done." If you consider yourself a progressive, forward thinker this not the place for you. It is very political and the people in management that have been there 10+ years have all the power and throw their weight around to get their way...whether or not it's in the best interest of the organization as a whole.

Pros

They didn't end up have Elon speak in the end.

Cons

Out of touch CEO invited Elon Musk to speak at SHRM conference while thousands of federal workers were getting DOGEd. Need I say more?
