Pros
The pay is good and you get a raise after 30 days.
Cons
The company doesn't provide gloves, some water hoses don't have nozzles (which is imperative for removing concrete from your truck), they don't provide a ladder for you to do your mandatory pre-trip inspection, they don't provide a shovel, a mallet, or any other tools to clean your chute (which is also mandatory). You don't get reimbursed for work boots. You are given 1 t-shirt and 1 hoodie, but normally work 6 days per week. The trucks are old and falling apart. When you take ANY problem to maintenance they act extremely angry at you for showing up. All trucks are leaking some sort of fluid. Management verbally attacks new hires for getting gas in the morning, but veteran drivers are allowed to.
