Pros
Good benefits. Up to 3 weeks vacation based on time working for SRM. 1 day of PTO every 60 days. No caps on pay. $1-$2 raise annually. $100 for each Saturday worked, paid out with Christmas Bonus. Additional week of pay for Christmas, on top of regular paycheck! Anything over 8 hrs/ day is overtime.
Cons
Too much overtime. Not enough mechanics in shops. 120 degrees in shop on hot days. Too many unqualified mixer and truck drivers abusing the equipment creating excessive workload in shops. No accountability for damaging equipment. Company is not family oriented. Vacation time can't be shorter than 5 days. Regular scheduled hrs are 11 hrs/ day and every other Saturday. But PTO is paid at 8 hrs/ day and vacation is paid at 8 hrs/ day.
