Pros

Great community, and the hospital does a great job of serving it to the best of its ability. Beautiful campus that is always improving. Plenty of resources to make large projects and change happen.

Cons

Management does a poor job communicating, too busy navigating the bureaucracy of the organization. Reimbursements and raises can take upwards of 4-6 months to go through. Management doesn't hire good fits for the department and rushes people through a delicate training process, leaving large knowledge gaps. Salary is "market median", which includes a plethora of small rural hospitals in our area, meaning if someone were to commute 40 miles north or south, they would be able to make 25% more in their position.

Thé patient population is amazing and my colleagues are wonderful humans

Cons

Leadership could be better. Communication with HR, management, etc is not good. The pay seems low, especially for how hard we work.
