Don't work there; don't shop there; don't even acknowledge its existence. - Maintenance Sam's Club Employee Review

Pros

The free refills were the only benefits they told me about when I was hired -- and they kind of mentioned I would get health benefits....if I worked enough hours weekly.

Cons

Unprofessional management; high turnover (I swear somebody will hire on for a week and then I won't see them ever again); underpaid (three neighboring retail stores pay more than they do. Must we not forget that three of the Waltons are on Forbes' Top Ten richest Americans list); under-appreciated (management will drive you like cattle with great disrespect for the associate).

Pros

The pay is good and so are the benefits.

Cons

This is the worst job I have ever had. I made it 3 weeks before leaving and never coming back. They had me working 12 hour shifts when I was scheduled for 8 but couldn’t leave because I wasn’t finished with the large workload they piled on me. There was absolutely no teamwork, our manager just abandoned us so they could go hang out with their friends. There was no organization, no structure. 100% sure my manager never even knew my name. They had us breaking down pallets just to restack them. There are no consequences for management at all, they can basically do whatever they want and nobody is gonna do anything to stop it. If they're short they throw you into different departments with no training.
