Managers are impossible to find. Stores are run by overworked Team Leads. You must have 100 availability. You will never have a set day off and schedule changes every week at the last minute. Low wages, lower raises. Employees and managers gossip about everyone. Associates are forced to upsell customers on credit cards with high interest rates and will be written up if they don't. Stores have no security staff or guards. Team Leads are forced to chase down thieves, bums, drug addicts and all manner of ne'er-do-wells, on top of their other work. You can't walk into any grocery store, even high end ones, without seeing off duty police guarding the entrance and exit, but Sam's Club simply doesn't care if product is stolen or for the basic safety of their staff.
