Pros

ESOP and thats about all any longer

Cons

Are expected to complete the role of 2 to 3 people daily without any help or proper training. Production and quality goals are some of the most unrealistic goals to acheive and maintain. They have no training schedule in certain dept's and the room to advance is very limited or non existent. Company has bonuses that are getting to the point of being unachievable. Will tell you in interview you only work half days on fridays and then after you start are told you have to work mandatory overtime or will be written up. Attendence policy is very strict and no compassion if family emergency occurs. You will be written up for anything. Most supervisor's have no idea how to process and are unwilling to help or listen. Are always told to just work more overtime. When I first started with the company they had core values they instilled. Now the core values mean nothing to the company and are almost unheard of. Company does not care about employees like they had in the past. To management you are just replaceable. No work/life balance, all they care about is overtime and could careless if you spent any time with your family.

Pros

SFG has changed over the years but definitely for the better. I trust leadership and enjoy everyday working for this amazing company. There is of course office politics which you’ll have everywhere but if you keep doing what you’re supposed to be doing then you’ll have no issues. ESOP, early out on Fridays, culture, flexible schedules, system enhancements including productivity improvements and genuine conversations with people you work with are some of the top favorites on my list. Plenty of SFG employees have left over the years due to their own personal lives/needs but a lot of them end up coming back for plenty of reasons but in reality it’s because we are happy working here.

Cons

None that comes to mind.
