      Pros

      Sammons has an unique culture stemming from personable, mindful employees. Work/life balance is also part of the culture where a typical 40-hour work week includes Friday afternoons off. Sammons is trending toward a more generous work-at-home schedule, and there are many perks like an on-site gym and occasional free goodies like free lunches & snacks. Well organized employee on-boarding allows new employees to learn the business up-front. When things don't go as expected, the focus is to make things right instead of trying to point the finger at people.

      There tends to be more meetings than are probably necessary.

      Pros

      SFG has changed over the years but definitely for the better. I trust leadership and enjoy everyday working for this amazing company. There is of course office politics which you’ll have everywhere but if you keep doing what you’re supposed to be doing then you’ll have no issues. ESOP, early out on Fridays, culture, flexible schedules, system enhancements including productivity improvements and genuine conversations with people you work with are some of the top favorites on my list. Plenty of SFG employees have left over the years due to their own personal lives/needs but a lot of them end up coming back for plenty of reasons but in reality it’s because we are happy working here.
