Pros

Good insurance, decent benefits over all I guess. Some roles allow for pretty good pay.

Cons

The upper management is troubled to say the least. In my time working there they went through 3 different plant managers as well as production managers maintenance managers etc. essentially the whole front office. Now from what I know that hasnt stopped they have went through 4 more. They will ask you to travel to other plants multiple states away because they can't retain employees so they try to move you around to make up for the slack. They will not listen to constructive criticism and god forbid you don't get something in writing they will bring the hammer down.

Pros

Good benefits at a reasonable cost

Cons

No respect or regard for employees. No transparency. The decision was made to rty to sell the Roll Form Group, without even telling the Employees of the Roll Form Group, for two years. According to the Samuel CEO press release, out out after they decided to close the plant. No effort to relocate employees to other Samuel locations. No effort to obtain replacement employment. Very sneaky and underhanded executive branch. If you are looking for a long term career, look elsewhere.
