Pros

Good benefits, Employees are nice for the most part.

Cons

Management sucks. Some managers can't hold a conversation in English, and some have privileges compared to others (because they come from the same place before Sierra). None of the directors have extrusion experience and never show up on the floor. But when they need something, they pretend to know everything and talk down to their employees, insisting on making the wrong decision after another, leading to failures across all departments. Nobody cares anymorepeople don’t check material, there are no consequences for making massive amounts of scrap, and equipment is run down. Maintenance takes forever to fix even small issues.

Pros

Good benefits at a reasonable cost

Cons

No respect or regard for employees. No transparency. The decision was made to rty to sell the Roll Form Group, without even telling the Employees of the Roll Form Group, for two years. According to the Samuel CEO press release, out out after they decided to close the plant. No effort to relocate employees to other Samuel locations. No effort to obtain replacement employment. Very sneaky and underhanded executive branch. If you are looking for a long term career, look elsewhere.
