Pros

The only pro for this job was taken away.

Cons

The company had remote options but different departments and the CEO decided they would rather micromanage employees than allow employees to enjoy flexibility with their work schedule. Apparently the CEO wants able bodies in the office even if it doesn’t increase employee morale or productivity. The company is going through restructuring which likely means layoffs and now they’re trying to eliminate remote options. Without remote options the company doesn’t have much to offer.

Dear colleague, thank you for taking the time to share your view on Sartorius as an employer here. There must be a misunderstanding, just to clarify: There is no home-office policy or decision issued by CEO Michael Grosse at Sartorius. Whether a role is carried out remotely or on-site depends on the role itself, the team, and regional needs and may evolve over time. However, we understand from your review that you see room for improvement regarding working conditions. We’ve shared your feedback internally but would also like to encourage you to share your ideas via our internal feedback channels like our bi-annual pulse checks or in a direct conversation with your manager. Thanks for your collaboration and best regards Corporate Communications

Pros

Strong technical expertise within the organization. Exposure to a broad range of customers and applications.

Cons

My experience at this company was disappointing due to a lack of transparency, consistency, and fairness in enforcement of company policy. Compensation for employees in the same or similar roles varied significantly, with decisions often appearing to be based on individual manager discretion rather than clear, objective criteria. I also observed what appeared to be gender bias in pay decisions. Additionally, there were employees who contributed very little while others carried a disproportionate workload. This was extremely demotivating for those who worked hard, as there appeared to be little recognition or reward for taking on additional responsibility and delivering results.

Dear former colleague, thank you for sharing your experience here. Your feedback on policy enforcement, potential gender bias, and uneven workload describes conditions that are not in line with what we aim for as an employer. What we can’t tell from your review is whether you raised these concerns internally during your time with us – for example with your manager, HR, or through our employee survey. If you haven’t done so, please feel free to provide more context via email at employer.communications@sartorius.com. We will forward your feedback to the appropriate internal contacts. Important note: If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination based on gender at Sartorius, please report this directly to our Compliance Team either by email at compliance@sartorius.com or by anonymously submitting a report via the Whistleblower Portal: https://www.bkms-system.net/bkwebanon/report/clientInfo?cin=20sarto15.
