      Pros

      Working in field includes numerous perks like Annual Sales Meetings (ie. Aruba, Puerto Rico, Jamaica), company car or allowance, annual bonus, flexible schedule, and more.

      Cons

      In the field there is little support or structure. The only way to receive jobs notifications is from email. Paperwork is all done in outdated Word documents. Hard to get ahold of people for support when needed. All changes go through Germany. The US is like the red-headed step-child of Germany.

      Strong technical expertise within the organization. Exposure to a broad range of customers and applications.

      My experience at this company was disappointing due to a lack of transparency, consistency, and fairness in enforcement of company policy. Compensation for employees in the same or similar roles varied significantly, with decisions often appearing to be based on individual manager discretion rather than clear, objective criteria. I also observed what appeared to be gender bias in pay decisions. Additionally, there were employees who contributed very little while others carried a disproportionate workload. This was extremely demotivating for those who worked hard, as there appeared to be little recognition or reward for taking on additional responsibility and delivering results.
