Pros

The people I worked with directly (supervisors, team) were amazing, some of the best people I've ever had the privilege of meeting.

Cons

I was part of an acquisition and Sartorius as a whole seemed to have zero concern for us. We would continually be asked to do the work of a team 3x our size and repeated requests for more resources were dismissed. Also, the company seemed to hold contempt for all the hard work we did to build the brand of the acquired company, undoing years of brand recognition for the sake of consistency. Most days felt like digging a ditch and filling it back up.

My experience at this company was disappointing due to a lack of transparency, consistency, and fairness in enforcement of company policy. Compensation for employees in the same or similar roles varied significantly, with decisions often appearing to be based on individual manager discretion rather than clear, objective criteria. I also observed what appeared to be gender bias in pay decisions. Additionally, there were employees who contributed very little while others carried a disproportionate workload. This was extremely demotivating for those who worked hard, as there appeared to be little recognition or reward for taking on additional responsibility and delivering results.
