Pros

The work environment is flexible

Cons

Poor team structure The position is not defined because you may think your job is just to provide solutions, but there is more to it. You will be asked to do filtration studies and even TFF studies and also provide end-to-end solutions to customers. It's just too much. Sometimes, you don't know if you are working as a field application specialist (FAS). My salary doesn't merit it and this was demotivating.

Dear former colleague, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand from your comments that you felt the scope of your role was not clearly defined. We strive to maintain clear job descriptions and ensure that all our team members have a solid understanding of their responsibilities. However, we recognize that there may be times when team members are asked to take on additional tasks to meet the needs of our customers and the business. This should not lead to feelings of being overburdened or undervalued. Our employees can always discuss their topics with their manager and HR to find solutions. We wish you all the best for your next step. Best regards Corporate Communications

Pros

Strong technical expertise within the organization. Exposure to a broad range of customers and applications.

Cons

My experience at this company was disappointing due to a lack of transparency, consistency, and fairness in enforcement of company policy. Compensation for employees in the same or similar roles varied significantly, with decisions often appearing to be based on individual manager discretion rather than clear, objective criteria. I also observed what appeared to be gender bias in pay decisions. Additionally, there were employees who contributed very little while others carried a disproportionate workload. This was extremely demotivating for those who worked hard, as there appeared to be little recognition or reward for taking on additional responsibility and delivering results.

If you haven’t done so, please feel free to provide more context via email at employer.communications@sartorius.com. We will forward your feedback to the appropriate internal contacts. Important note: If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination based on gender at Sartorius, please report this directly to our Compliance Team either by email at compliance@sartorius.com or by anonymously submitting a report via the Whistleblower Portal: https://www.bkms-system.net/bkwebanon/report/clientInfo?cin=20sarto15.
