Pros

solid salary, modern infrastructure, nice campus

Cons

poor management, lots of politics, no vision. Top management has been completely replaced over the last 12 month. Partially replaced twice to three times. People get promoted not due to qualification but due to politics.

Dear colleague, Thank you for writing a review. We understand from your comments that you worry about recent changes and promotions. At Sartorius, promotions should always be based on an employee's qualifications for a role. If you have specific concerns about promotion practices, please reach out to employer.communications@sartorius.com with more details – we will be glad to share this information internally or provide a contact person for you to talk to. While there have been organizational changes within our divisions, it’s also worth noting that the Heads of Division have actually held their roles for several years, providing stability and continuity in top management. One other note regarding our vision: Sartorius has a clear vision in place that has been communicated by the Executive Board at various occasions internally and externally: With our innovative technologies we support life science research and the biopharma industry in developing new therapies faster and producing them more efficiently. Best regards Corporate Communications

Pros

Strong technical expertise within the organization. Exposure to a broad range of customers and applications.

Cons

My experience at this company was disappointing due to a lack of transparency, consistency, and fairness in enforcement of company policy. Compensation for employees in the same or similar roles varied significantly, with decisions often appearing to be based on individual manager discretion rather than clear, objective criteria. I also observed what appeared to be gender bias in pay decisions. Additionally, there were employees who contributed very little while others carried a disproportionate workload. This was extremely demotivating for those who worked hard, as there appeared to be little recognition or reward for taking on additional responsibility and delivering results.

Dear former colleague, thank you for sharing your experience here. Your feedback on policy enforcement, potential gender bias, and uneven workload describes conditions that are not in line with what we aim for as an employer. What we can’t tell from your review is whether you raised these concerns internally during your time with us – for example with your manager, HR, or through our employee survey. If you haven’t done so, please feel free to provide more context via email at employer.communications@sartorius.com. We will forward your feedback to the appropriate internal contacts. Important note: If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination based on gender at Sartorius, please report this directly to our Compliance Team either by email at compliance@sartorius.com or by anonymously submitting a report via the Whistleblower Portal: https://www.bkms-system.net/bkwebanon/report/clientInfo?cin=20sarto15.
