Pros
The pay, benefits, flexibility are very attractive. The people are nice and welcoming. The work is challenging and they are somewhat open to innovation.
Cons
The lack of foresight and organization at the program/project level is astonishing. Who ever meets with the clients promises them the moon, and expects an ever diminishing development teams to deliver, is setting up the org for failure. In 1 year there were 3 lay offs, which begs the question who is running the show?? For a company that had just over 100 employees, how can you have 3 layoffs in the product area and expect any product delivery? You have a CPO who is spending more time acting as a developer than his actual role. This person is very smart at what he does, but the people who report to him do not get his full attention, instead he is off working on code. In 8 months of working with this person, we had 2 one-on-ones as usual he is working on code. Initially, he forgot to even schedule them.
