Pros

One month in and I already feel like I made the right call joining Savvy. The people here are genuinely great — collaborative, sharp, and welcoming from day one. There's a healthy mix of vibrant in-office energy and remote employees that actually works, and the work-life balance culture is real, not just something that lives in the careers page copy. Leadership stands out. The executive team has a clear vision of where the business is going and what it takes to get there, and they're thoughtful rather than reactive in how they make decisions. You can tell they've built serious momentum over the past year and that there's a plan behind it. Ownership is genuinely encouraged here. Because we're bringing fresh thinking to a very traditional industry, there's real room to try new approaches and flip the script on how things have always been done. That kind of autonomy is rare and motivating. Compensation is competitive relative to industry benchmarks, and the perks are a nice touch — lunch on Savvy is a small thing that goes a long way in making the office feel like somewhere people actually want to be.

Cons

Only a month in, so still finding my footing in some areas. Like any fast-moving company with strong momentum, things can move quickly and it takes time to get full context on everything. Nothing that feels like a red flag — more just the natural learning curve of a growing company.

Pros

- Everyone on the team is exceptionally friendly, and wants everyone to succeed. It's a very professional environment. - Lots of transparency in our operations. - Exciting "upcoming startup" vibes. - Free lunch is a great perk. - They ring a little bell whenever we land a new client and the whole office cheers. Very exciting!

Cons

High velocity, very tech forward, and very excited about AI enablement. To me these are reasons why I chose Savvy in the first place, but if they rub you the wrong way, it's probably not a great fit.

Pros

- Exceptional autonomy. You're trusted with meaningful, high-impact work early rather than being confined to a narrow role. - Direct access to leadership. Decisions happen quickly, and it's possible to influence product, research, and company direction regardless of title. - Broad scope. It's an excellent environment for people who enjoy wearing multiple hats across product, investments, analytics, engineering, and operations. - Smart, ambitious teammates who genuinely want to build something differentiated. - Fast execution. Good ideas can become real products or processes in days rather than months. - Significant room for career growth if you're proactive and comfortable creating your own roadmap.

Cons

None of these are serious cons and instead are the byproduct of a startup: - Processes are still evolving, so priorities can shift frequently. - Documentation and institutional knowledge lag the pace of execution. - Success often depends on self-direction; there isn't always a predefined playbook. - Resource constraints mean individuals may own more work than they would at a larger firm. - Cross-functional coordination can occasionally become ad hoc as the company scales.
