Hello! Thank you for sharing your perspective as an account manager. We know how hard your teams work, so receiving your raw and straightforward feedback is especially helpful. We’re glad to hear you’ve had positive experiences with the people you’ve worked alongside and the benefits provided, though we’re sorry to learn about the challenges you’ve outlined. Burnout is never something we want for our team members—especially our high performers—and we recognize the importance of supporting balance and sustainability while also setting consistent expectations. Your comments about workload, context, and recognition help us drive leadership toward improvement. We also hear your concerns about pay consistency. Our annual pay review process is designed to ensure fairness and market competitiveness, but we know it requires ongoing care, and we’re hopeful that we’re moving in the right direction. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Your perspective helps us identify where we need to focus, and if you’re open to sharing more, please don’t hesitate to connect with me at AmyL@scorpion.co.

Pros

I think it is so easy to criticize a company as innovative and forward-looking as Scorpion. It’s easy to lose sight of what it means to be working for a real visionary in the industry. There is no one else in this entire space who is even thinking the way that the CEO and other executive leaders are. If being the best possible solution for the types of businesses this company serves isn’t for you, there are plenty of smaller companies that don’t do any of this revolutionary stuff you can go work for.

Cons

Yes, tools break and people make mistakes. But they also get fixed and people do listen.

Hey! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your recognition of your coworkers, leadership team, and the technology. We’re certainly proud of the people and tools that power what we do. At the same time, we hear your concerns around sales opportunities, support, and what it takes to succeed here. That’s important feedback. Our goal is always to foster career development by empowering employees to explore growth opportunities within their roles, and peer learning is a big part of that, along with support through feedback, performance goals, and clear career paths. But it’s clear from your experience that we don’t always get this right, and that’s something we continue to work on. We also take concerns around fairness and access to opportunities seriously. Sales is a challenging environment, and consistent access to the right resources, whether that’s leads, events, or support, plays a big role in setting people up for success. Creating a more level playing field across the team is something we’re continuously evaluating and working to improve. Thank you for raising your concerns around the lack of opportunities here. We are determined to get this feedback into the right hands. We understand this was a lot to put into words, and we appreciate the time you took to provide this perspective, as it helps us continue refining how we support our sales teams and create more consistent paths to success. If you’d be willing to continue the conversation, I’d be happy to hear more about your experience. Please feel free to reach out to me at AmyL@scorpion.co. In the meantime, I and the rest of Scorpion wish you all the best in your next endeavors.
