Pros
Great cause Work with some pretty intelligent and dedicated people Stability Pay is highly comparable to public companies Always trying to improve processes and implement CPI strategies (Toyota way)
Cons
Extremely bureaucratic culture Management is closed-off and does not consider staff input no matter how much they claim they do Communication line is not open and announcements are not always made to managers and very seldom directly or indirectly made to employees who are impacted the most Inefficient processes and although continuously working to improve processes, there are still many holes and continuous changes result in need for new efficiency analysis. CPI methods enforced are not always relevant Lack of ownership results in low morale Limited opportunities for job growth
