Business Outlook
Pros
Good benefits, including public transportation pass and incentives to bike to work. Insurance coverage is good but not great. Really smart people and also some really good people who want to make a difference.
Cons
The culture is very much like high school - if a manager or director decides that you don't fit in, then your career is pretty much over at Seattle Children's. Job performance doesn't matter; you'll suddenly be labeled a problem employee and managers and directors will fabricate reasons about why you don't fit or deserve a promotion. This type of behavior is condoned by or at least goes unchecked with upper management and leadership.
