Pros

Innovative - it is still small enough to where your ideas are heard, understood and implemented on merit and client need You feel challenged with multiple problems that you help oil companies solve on an everyday basis You are able to see the fruits of your efforts within 4-12 weeks as the implementation cycles of the products are quick and can immediately see client satisfaction Great place for skilled technical personnel as well as MBAs Since the company is still small and growing, politics is non-existent - when you help someone or someone helps you, there is never a feeling that anybody is trying to steal your thunder - it is more a collaborative environment where everyone is working together and helping each other for the general interest. Extremely smart and exceptional coworkers that challenge you Competitive pay - especially for a startup Decent benefits and 401K plan is better than some large companies flex schedule

Cons

for me personally, its a far drive - but that's my personal choice and so doesn't truly count as a con

Pros

This was a great company which founded on solid work technical work culture that I had not seen in a long time. People worked there because they liked the challenge. We were overworked but never complained because that is the passion we joined the company for.

Cons

Well where to start. The company outsourced all technology folks to India for obvious reason, high skill with less pay. Hmm, have you seen the people who are left working the company now in the US. Well lets put it this way, they are there because no one else will hire them anywhere else. And the new people who have joined there, well the less we say about them, the better it is. Especially the business facing folks. They are bunch of useless junk who will not get employed anywhere, hence they are just hanging on by sucking up. All the technology guys who were let go, has already found jobs and moved on. Only these useless abomination called business folks who can barely write a decent email to their clients are left back.
