Pros
- 60% employee discount on days that you worked - 20% on days you do not - medical insurance - student schedules - Sounds great on paper
Cons
- Not too sure about all the other locations but you can guarantee you will never get out when you are supposed to regardless what they tell you. - Little work-life balance - Managers will literally just stand around the kitchen and watch their overworked employees struggle and even disempower their team with condescending questions why they're not working hard enough. - Very high turnover rate due to poor management. - While there is a multitude of great characters that come and go at the Shack they eventually realize that favoritism and moving up is essentially impossible even for the hardest workers being there 2+ years due to the fact all the managers are hired from outside. They always push the Shack "family" phrase around and it's honestly insulting. Don't compare that sweatshop to family please.
