Pros
Higher hourly pay than average for unskilled labor.
Cons
The higher pay is probably needed in the attempt to lower the turnover rate. You are surrounded by toxic carcinogens and toxic management. They pretend to listen to employees regarding safety, how highly they value employees... blah, blah, blah. It is all talk with very little action. Management is completely out of touch with what is really going on in the plant. Don't look for a lot of praise, very political, long-term employees (especially women and minorities are the most likely to get promoted, even if they have little or no experience in the position they are posting up for. There are many that fully intend to leave the company within the next year or less in the Holland Plant... so if you are looking for a short-term opportunity to carry over while seeking another opportunity (and you should be seeking another opportunity) there will very likely be several openings if they recover from their recent loss of accounts and layoff at the Holland, MI plant.
