Pros
I have been with Shields for 4 years. They have consistently put their money where their mouth is when it comes to the motto of legendary care. The cultural norms that have been built within the company, make it a wonderful place to provide excellent care to patients, all the while allowing you the freedom to voice concerns and work together to create better processes and troubleshoot ideas to increase the level of services.
Cons
The biggest cons come from partner relationships. I feel as though sometimes we over-promise or aren't explicit enough with processes that work well with new or existing partners. We can lose track that we are the expert in a lot of matters and let the hospital make decisions that aren't always best for pharmacy, liaisons or patients. We should stand our ground more in areas that we know will make an impact.
