Pros

the vacation time is generous, 20 days to start. There is a lot of freedom that comes with this job. You mostly work independently.

Cons

There is no loyalty at all at this company. It doesn't matter what your performance or tenure is. The current VP of Sales hasn't managed more than 10 people as a District Manager before being promoted. The company is being run by a Consultant Company called DPI. Upper management takes all direction from them. The pay is also low ball vs. other pharma companies.

Pros

There are plenty of parking spaces and the building that the company is in is pretty nice. There are some fairly nice employees, not at the management level. Lastly, there are a few people in management who exude professionalism and are courteous.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are several members of management that were placed in that position due to their degree and maybe who they know. Their ability to manage people, time, and resources is lousy. When working on multi million dollar projects certain members of management feel they are above the need to adhere to timelines. Any attempts to change the environment or rectify problems that may be caused by managerial dysfunction will cause you to be singled out and subsequently let go. You will be labeled as a problem. Employees that are not upper management have to either walk around on eggshells or just completely not care about what's going on in order to survive. If you are a hard-working professional with a lot of industry knowledge and experience and you feel that your work is an extension of yourself please do not work for this company.
