Pros

Good portfolio, great colleagues to work with, great hiring manager who fights hard despite the inevitable challenges faced here for the past few years.

Cons

- Turnover rate is high. - Poor training procedures. Colleagues from headquarters just "train" by reading from their powerpoint slides. - Upper management micro managed on finance (increment, bonus... etc.) but they don't manage on initiatives which aren't prioritized to them. - Expect the lack of support from the Japan headquarters, expect prolonged response and delays when you request a simple favor for them - The company talks about making unrealistic goals for the next few years, however, their actions shows otherwise. (I guess that's the main reason why most of the great employees left because nothing gets done here.) - Language is not a barrier if this company wants to be known globally. - As some people had mentioned here, "this is not an environment for experienced employees and joining this company is a career killer." I strongly agree because I am in that situation where I lack so much exposure and waste so much of my time here. Due to my lack of contribution to work (because of the lack of exposure), the increment awarded to me was such an insult. I am happy to have found a job in a much better pharmaceutical company.

Pros

There are plenty of parking spaces and the building that the company is in is pretty nice. There are some fairly nice employees, not at the management level. Lastly, there are a few people in management who exude professionalism and are courteous.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are several members of management that were placed in that position due to their degree and maybe who they know. Their ability to manage people, time, and resources is lousy. When working on multi million dollar projects certain members of management feel they are above the need to adhere to timelines. Any attempts to change the environment or rectify problems that may be caused by managerial dysfunction will cause you to be singled out and subsequently let go. You will be labeled as a problem. Employees that are not upper management have to either walk around on eggshells or just completely not care about what's going on in order to survive. If you are a hard-working professional with a lot of industry knowledge and experience and you feel that your work is an extension of yourself please do not work for this company.
