Pros
Medical benefits Decent Pay Fair bit of autonomy depending on your role Cool mission
Cons
There are measures in place to mature a company. This includes resources, time, and money. Sierra Space leadership is aiming to "do it faster, cheaper, and better than anyone, ever". This approach has failed, and is ultimately pushing people out the door. Leadership is ruining the lives of all employees. They promised (especially CEO Tom Vice) the entire company that they would not mandate in-office work a few months ago. Then, they reneged on their promise. Their reasoning "we think you all will work better together in office and we can gain efficiencies". However, there are many jobs that can be done remotely, and effectively, and have proven to be so. When asked about their previous agreements to employees work-from-home arrangements, they responded "that doesn't matter, we are not honoring it". Leadership thinks they know better than their SMEs, which is causing many issues at the worker-level. If you can't trust your employees, why did you hire them? Outlook is grim. It is an "us vs them" mentality.
